Jazz Sensation – the essence of musical experience in one evening

A special concert experience is promised at MOMkult. The world-famous violin virtuoso Roby Lakatos and jazz saxophonist Tony Lakatos rarely perform together, but this time they are treating the audience to a joint performance, guaranteeing sparkling virtuosity and musical energy, as well as musicality flowing with effortless elegance.

The atmosphere of the event is enhanced by Jeanfrançois Prins, an internationally renowned jazz guitarist of Belgian origin, whose sophisticated playing and rich sound perfectly complement the Gypsy Jazz Band’s fiery rhythms and jazz-infused classical sound.

Two unique singers, Zsófi Tarján and Myriam Lakatos, provide the special flavor of this unique musical formation.

Zsófi Tarján’s sensitive and atmospheric performance fine-tunes the entire arc of the concert, while Myriam Lakatos’ soaring voice fits perfectly into the unique world of the Lakatos sound.

The backbone of the program is French and English songs, which are elegantly blended with the fiery, improvisational spirit of gypsy jazz, or manouche.

Well-known Hungarian melodies will also be performed, completing the cultural and emotional arc.

This evening is not just a concert, but a rare convergence of virtuosity and passion, tradition and modernity, international stars and Hungarian roots.
